Espero Inc. is the organization responsible for personal information across everything we build. This policy explains that responsibility and covers the espero.io website. Each of our products handles data differently and has its own privacy policy.
Who we are
Espero Inc. is a corporation registered in Alberta, Canada. We are the company behind this site and behind every product listed below, and we are accountable for the personal information each of them handles. To ask a question about this policy, or about how we handle personal information anywhere, write to contact@espero.io.
Our products and their policies
What a product collects depends on what it does, so each one publishes its own policy describing its data practices specifically. Those policies govern the product; this one governs this website.

Information we collect on this site
This website is static and does not require an account. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell data, and we do not build profiles of visitors. If you email us, we receive the contents of that message and your email address so we can reply, and we keep that correspondence only as long as we need it to handle your request.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. It is served through Cloudflare,
which may set a bot-management cookie (__cf_bm) to tell
human visitors from automated traffic. It is not used for advertising
and does not follow you across other sites.
Hosting and infrastructure
Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as your IP address and request metadata, to deliver and secure the page. This is standard content-delivery processing.
Cloudflare operates a global network, and our email is handled by Google Workspace, so this processing may take place on servers outside Canada. Information handled in another country may be accessible to that country's courts and government authorities under its laws. Write to us at the address above for more about how we use these providers.
Your choices
To ask what information we hold from correspondence with us, to get a copy of it, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email contact@espero.io. For information held by one of our products, the same address reaches us, and that product's policy describes the controls built into the product itself.
We handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We handle these requests the same way wherever you are.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be called out here.
