About Espero Inc.

"We build software" is our byline, and we mean it plainly. No fluff and no spin in the products we make, the way we talk about them, and the way we work with people. Espero Inc. builds its own products and would be happy to discuss contracting work with you.

We work end to end: training and inference, cloud and on-prem infrastructure, backend, web and mobile clients that people actually touch. The same small team owns the whole path from a model to a shipped app, which is how we keep the quality bar high and the moving parts honest.

Espero Inc. is also the home of our own products. Mojee is the first — a private, on-device-minded way to turn a handful of photos into thousands of images and stickers of you. More are on the way.

Espero: hope, expectation, prospect

The word comes from Esperanto, a language created in 1887 by L. L. Zamenhof. He grew up amid the divisions of a fractured world and wanted a neutral language anyone could share: common ground to help people across nations and tongues understand each other, at a time the world needed it most. He published it under the pseudonym Doktoro Esperanto, "one who hopes," and the name stuck to the language itself. Espero is its word for hope.
